Difficulty: 2/10.
Learn how to make an easy popup Christmas card with a tree theme with this tutorial. Even young kids can do this Christmas craft. 2. Easy Origami Santa Claus for Christmas (difficulty 3/10) 折り紙サンタクロース
Difficulty 3/10.
Learn how to make an easy Santa origami in this tutorial. Red-and-white two-sided paper (origami paper or scrapbooking paper) makes coloring the origami Santa Claus easier, but white paper is also fine. Even young kids can do this Origami Santa Claus Christmas craft. The origami Santa can be glued onto handmade Christmas cards, strung together and used as Christmas decorations, or simply set on the mantel to surprise Santa himself.
3. Easy Origami Christmas Tree (difficulty 2/10) 折り紙クリスマスツリー
Difficulty 2/10.
Enjoy folding this easy origami Christmas tree that kids can fold with you. Great for Christmas decorations, handmade Christmas cards, or Christmas gift tags. If you don't have two-sided green origami paper, just use white copy paper and color the front when you are done. There are many origami Christmas tree designs, but this origami tree is the best one for kids. Origami is the Japanese art of paper folding and usually requires no cutting, tape, or glue.

5. Easy Origami Santa Quilt, Easy Christmas Sewing Craft (diff 5/10) 折り紙サンタキルト作り方
Difficulty 5/10.
Use origami techniques in this Santa quilt, no piecework! The Santa is one square of red print fabric, folded so that the white back shows. This Origami Santa Quilt, a great and easy Christmas sewing craft, requires that you only cut squares of Christmas color fabric, of any size, so it is very easy to cut. There is no fancy cutting and no fancy piecing together of fabrics. Because almost all edges are folded, it prevents fraying and thus is very easy to sew! Perfect for beginner origami enthusiasts and beginning sewers looking for an easy Christmas sewing craft. One of the fabrics should be double-sided, and Christmas colors work best. I have been wanting to try out this idea of using origami designs in fabric to make quilt squares, and by golly it worked!

Easy Origami Dress Tutorial for Mother's Day Cards (difficulty 5/10) 折り紙ドレス
This origami dress tutorial is great for hand-made Mother's Day cards, bridal shower cards, or simply a card for a friend who loves fashion. Although my channel is "Origami for Kids," this one is really for older kids because you need a lot of patience during the origami fold for getting the skirt to flare out. Have fun creating this origami dress for Mother's Day cards.

If you want to make bunting with origami dresses on them, I recommend using scrapbooking paper for the variety of patterns. For cards you will need smaller paper, so look in Japanese or Asian specialty stores. They usually have some cute floral origami for pretty dresses. For an extra special mother's day card, take a picture of the pattern on one of your mom's favorite dresses and print it out on plain paper to make custom origami paper. Then, fold it and surprise her with an origami dress card inspired by a real dress of hers.

Origami Mini-Book for American Girl Dolls, "Famous Quotes from Mark Twain" (diffiulty 4/10)
Difficulty 4/10
Make this cute mini-book to improve the literary life of your American Girl or other doll. It has real text on the pages written by Mark Twain. It's not just a blank book with a cover. The mini-book is of Mark Twain Quotes and contains great quips from this beloved American author. These mini-books are perfectly sized and can be illustrated by you or left as is. This is made completely of paper or recycled paper but is not technically "pure" origami because of the use of glue and cutting, so it is called a papercraft. To make the minibook, print out the template from here in the description, follow the cutting and folding directions on it, and add an origami book cover made from a 6"x6" piece of decorative paper. Glue on the cover art, and you're done.

Flamin' Hot Cheetos Origami
Difficulty: 3/10.
This Flamin' Hot Cheetos Origami was designed using 3D modeling tools and top programmers from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. It took seven months to develop the "organic multiple partition fold" (Step 5) that is so crucial to the integrity of the design. Thankfully, we found an origami expert able to execute the design into a real working model. The origami can be modified to apply to other extruded snacks as well. Enjoy.
