How to Fold an Origami Crane & Write Crane (tsuru) in Japanese Hiragana and Kanji (difficulty 5/10)
Fool-proof instructions for folding an origami crane, for home or the classroom. There is a Japanese legend that says if you fold 1,000 origami cranes your wish will be granted by a magical crane. In this tutorial I will show you how to fold these origami cranes so maybe your wish will be granted. At the end of the video, I will also show you how to write the Japanese word for crane, called tsuru, in Japanese characters.

K-4th: not recommended
5th-6th: 75 minutes (break up into 3 days)
7th-8th: 60 minutes (break up into 2 days)
9th-10th: 50 minutes
11th-12th: 45 minutes
