The origami Santa can be glued onto handmade Christmas cards, strung together and used as Christmas decorations, or simply set on the mantel to surprise Santa himself.

If you want to make bunting with origami dresses on them, I recommend using scrapbooking paper for the variety of patterns. For cards you will need smaller paper, so look in Japanese or Asian specialty stores. They usually have some cute floral origami for pretty dresses. For an extra special mother's day card, take a picture of the pattern on one of your mom's favorite dresses and print it out on plain paper to make custom origami paper. Then, fold it and surprise her with an origami dress card inspired by a real dress of hers.

Make this cute mini-book to improve the literary life of your American Girl or other doll. It has real text on the pages written by Mark Twain. It's not just a blank book with a cover. The mini-book is of Mark Twain Quotes and contains great quips from this beloved American author. These mini-books are perfectly sized and can be illustrated by you or left as is. This is made completely of paper or recycled paper but is not technically "pure" origami because of the use of glue and cutting, so it is called a papercraft. To make the minibook, print out the template from here in the description, follow the cutting and folding directions on it, and add an origami book cover made from a 6"x6" piece of decorative paper. Glue on the cover art, and you're done.
