This origami dress tutorial is great for hand-made Mother's Day cards, bridal shower cards, or simply a card for a friend who loves fashion. Although my channel is "Origami for Kids," this one is really for older kids because you need a lot of patience during the origami fold for getting the skirt to flare out. If you want to make bunting with origami dresses on them, I recommend using scrapbooking paper for the variety of patterns. For cards you will need smaller paper, so look in Japanese or Asian specialty stores. They usually have some cute floral origami for pretty dresses. For an extra special mother's day card, take a picture of the pattern on one of your mom's favorite dresses and print it out on plain paper to make custom origami paper. Then, fold it and surprise her with an origami dress card inspired by a real dress of hers.
