3D U.S. Flag Heart Origami for 4th of July or Memorial Day

I use these puffy heart American Flag origami shapes for fun kid lunches or picnics.

Mother's Day Origami Potted Tulip [チューリップ]
Difficulty: 1 out of 10
This combines three easy origami - the tulip, the cup, and the fan. I use a block of colored square paper from the dollar store. The hardest step for students is getting the cup to be symmetrical, so demonstrate it slowly and walk around the classroom to check for understanding during that part.
